Messiah

The woman said to him,
“I know that Messiah is coming
(he who is called Christ).
When he comes, he will tell us all things.”
Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am he.”

John 4:25-26

  1. Some days I try to imagine what it would have been like to have been living on the earth when Jesus was here physically. Can you imagine how mysterious this must have seemed to that woman? Thank you for sharing that verse, Sandi. And I love the stained glass that you've shared. SO beautiful!

  4. I am with Dianna and often wonder what it was like in Bible times...what it would have been like to talk with Jesus face-to-face. I guess when I get to heaven I will know :) What a day that will be!

    Hugs!

  6. Such an important scripture; this is Jesus' own testimony of Himself -- The Messiah. The One who was promised. The prophecy fulfilled. I can only imagine the excitement she would have felt at hearing those words,

  7. Beautiful verse!! How exciting for the woman to hear his voice and then realize HE was the Messiah. What a blessing to know and to look forward to when we get to heaven.

  9. I can only imagine how amazing it would have been to hear Jesus say those words. This is the first time in scripture that Jesus spoke so directly about who He was. And how amazing that he had chosen this woman to reveal himself to.

  10. Hi Sandi, On my colorful sunrise photo today you commented, "God is a painter!" You are so right and thank you for such a kind comment. You know, when you think about the size of sky that is colored by a sunrise or sunset, and think that God can do all that in just seconds ... well, isn't it awesome? You have posted a wonderful verse today. John
