“It is funny how mortals
always picture us as
putting things
into their minds:
in reality our best work is done by keeping things out.”

The Screwtape Letters
C.S. Lewis

  1. Hi Sandi! This book is such a classic, isn't it? I always think that the most effective way for evil to keep me off track is busyness. I'm so crazy running around that being merciful is never in my head at all.

I understand this quote very well. Unfortunately. Life is always a work in progress, and I'm working to slow down and be more intentional.

  2. That's a good one. The key is balance!

  3. Hi Sandi, thanks for your nice comment.
The beads on the towel are made of red coral of the sea they are rare and very expensive and now may no longer be extracted from the sea.

  4. I've just started reading this book....I have to keep reminding myself that the enemy is Jesus because that's not how Christians think in reality!!! Thanks for sharing this quote from the's almost hilarious....but satan (can't capitalize that name) uses ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to take our attention away from Christ!
