Great Light

The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali,
the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan,

Galilee of the Gentiles—

the people dwelling in darkness
have seen a great light,
and for those dwelling in the region and shadow of death,
on them a light has dawned.

Matthew 4:15-16

  1. Hi Sandi! I am beginning to do some reflecting (no pun intended) on the meaning of 'light' when it comes to faith. Of course, Matthew is talking about Jesus, but I do think that light of Christ is in all of us. We have to take that light and go shine!

    Monday blessings,

    1. Thank you, Beatrice! I always wonder if the names mean something besides just beautiful names. You know, like a secret message hidden there. ;)
