Fools

And a highway shall be there,
and it shall be called the Way of Holiness;
the unclean shall not pass over it.
It shall belong to those who walk on the way;
even if they are fools, they shall not go astray.

Isaiah 35:8

Fools. Well, that's encouraging!

    It is an interesting verse, are the unclean the fools? Enjoy your day, wishing you a great new week!

    1. Hmm..good question. I think the unclean are not the fools because the unclean won't be there but the fools will.

  4. Interesting verse. I'm surprised even fools will be able to walk the Way of Holiness. I guess I never paid much attention to this verse before.

  8. Some societies have the good sense to consider fools to be God's special children.
    Though as Mark Twain wrote: "Nothing is foolproof because fools are so ingenious"!

  9. I tend to think of simple people who love the Lord and are holding on to God in a very personal way, they seek Holiness and are blessed greatly.

    It's also a bit like the old Beatles song about the 'fool' on the hill. That 'fool' had it right. : )

  12. I think this is about אֱוִיל. Morally bad? Or means it "simple"?
