Strange Words

Not so strange really. I like them.

This is not my video.
I found it on youtube and thought it was beautiful.
That's Vladimir Putin speaking.
The background is the Valaam monastery.

  1. The words are beautiful...I pray that he is truly speaking from his heart...and that he truly knows The Lord. We may all be very surprised to see just who all is in heaven some day...

  2. Thank you for sharing this. I had no idea that he was a man of faith. I echo Pam's thoughts.

  4. Interesting. I have never thought of him as a Christian or a believer in anything other than communism. Not sure he can be trusted, but those words are lovely.

    1. Terri, he's had very negative things to say about the Communists and what they did.

  6. Hi Sandi, “Not so strange really. I like them.” I agree 100%. Amazing and wonderful. 180 degrees from most things I have heard about Vladimir Putin. This truly gives me some new hope that things may go in a peaceful direction. Thanks so much for sharing! John

    2. Well, are these words in accordance with actions?

    3. A good question. I know what you mean. Are they? It's like the old saying, you can not always believe what someone says, but you can always believe what they do. I don't know the answer to your question. Only time and experience will tell us. I pray for our leaders, and the other leaders too. I am in America, but we are all in this together, aren't we?

God bless you, Agaja. Thanks for reading and commenting.

  12. Strange to hear him say that. I'll just say that I am extremely wary of the man given his behaviour and particularly given his actions.
