Asia Bibi

Today a Pakistani Christian wife and mother was acquited of blasphemy charges and will be released. She has been in prison for eight years.

To be honest, it was a shock to see her freed. A good shock. Anything is possible!

Blessings to all, to the people of Pakistan, to those who accused her, to those who prayed for her, and to those who didn't. God bless you and keep you.

    1. She is 54 now. They said on the news a country had offered her and her family asylum, but they didn't say where.

  9. Hi Sandi,
yes we must pray for all men everywhere to come to the knowledge of salvation through Jesus, even those who have done this to that poor lady. Who knows what she has been used to do in Pakistan. Thank the Lord she has been granted asylum in another country.

      True, Ventana.

Romans 8:28- And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

  11. Hi Sandi, Isn't it hard to imagine someone being in prison for 8 years for words (they may have) spoken? And who said words don't matter? Great post Sandi!
