American Rights


"It was all made possible by the courage of 56 patriots who gathered in Philadelphia 244 years ago and signed the Declaration of Independence. They enshrined a divine truth that changed 
the world forever when they said: '…all men are created equal.'

These immortal words set in motion the unstoppable march of freedom.  Our Founders boldly declared that we are all endowed with the same divine rights — given [to] us by our Creator 
in Heaven.  And that which God has given us, we will 
allow no one, ever, to take away — ever.

Seventeen seventy-six represented the culmination of thousands of years of western civilization and the triumph not only of spirit, 
but of wisdom, philosophy, and reason."

Preamble to the Declaration of Independence:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are 
created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with 
certain unalienable Rights, that among these are 
Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Our rights are given to us by God. Not by our government. Not by our leaders. The Constitution of our great land only recognizes our rights. It does not give them to us. I hope we never forget it.

  1. Each thought in your post is true and may God bless and protect President Trump. The Constitution did not give us our rights, it supports the rights given to us by God. Many people are confused about this so thanks for this post.

  7. I agree that all men are equal Sandi, the sad thing is that the indigenous people in many countries are not given their rights by governments. When we lived in Australia the aboriginal people were not treated the same as the ones that took over the country they lived in, and I am not sure what happened to the North American Indians when others came to the country they had lived in for many years.

      So true. But in America our government recognizes, or is supposed to, that those rights are given by God not government. I believe in Australia and other countries, the whole world, those rights are given by God. Some people recognize that, others don't. But we can't change the truth. Some people do the wrong thing.

  10. so many people do not even understand what the 4th of july represents. i watched a segment on tv, when people were questioned on tv they had no idea. it is embarrassing!!

  12. i agree that each person comes in world with same rights dear Sandi yet we all know that world has run by rules set and applied by powerful since beginning
    people who have power to spoil other's right pay for what they do though don't acknowledge it but does it make difference ?

    I agree with you if every human being born in the world has the same equality and right to live.

    I don't like social inequalities and I also don't like to discriminate based on wealth and come from anywhere.
    For me, everyone is the same.

  21. What you really mean to say is that Donald Trump read the words a speechwriter created for him. He can barely put two coherent words together, and try telling the slaves at the time the constitution was written that all men were created equal. Try telling that to the American Indians whose land was taken from them, treaties dishonoured, right up until today, try telling that to the family of George Floyd, Trayvon Martin and others. How much do you think Trump considers people equal when he tells some, all women by the way, all with tinted skin by the way, to go back where they belong?

    1. You have a lot of horrible things to say about Trump, David, but what if you're wrong about him? How much of this have you researched for yourself? Have you ever watched a Trump speech? (Watch one, please. It may surprise you.)

      I am sure you are well aware there is still slavery in the world. Did you know it was Christians who fought to end it in the US and Europe? You should read about Wilbur Wilberforce. There is both good and evil in our world.

      God is real and He wants to restore you and set you free. You know how I know that? He has done it for me. Maybe you hate me...OK! I don't hate you. When I say God bless you I mean it. God bless you and keep you and make his face shine upon you. I pray that He opens your eyes. Not because you're bad (or good) but because I know how it feels to be without Him and I know how it feels to know Him.
