Word of the Year 2023

Do you have a Word of the Year?

I was thinking about it and this popped to mind:

watch.

I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?

My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

Psalm 121:1-2

  4. I don't have one word, but because of dealing with serious illness, I have a sentence: "One step at a time." It has served me well. And one other: "Let's make this into an adventure!" My friend and I say this every time she drives me down the mountain to see the doctor or have yet another scan or test.

  22. Thanks for sharing your word! That`s a good one!

You inspired me to ask the LORD for a word and the word I got is `heritage, inheritance`, In Hebrew it is Nachalah, root word Nachal.

Your testimonies are my heritage forever. Psalm 119:11

    Also `Children are a heritage of the LORD`, Ps127:3,

and the meaning both of spiritual inheritance 1peter1:3~4, as well as the physical inheragance of the Land of Israel where we are called back to return to.

I will be looking at some more verses. We can share about our words and pray into them next time we meet!

Blessings and a watch-ful joyous New Year to you!
