Instead of bronze I will bring gold,
and instead of iron I will bring silver;
instead of wood, bronze,
instead of stones, iron.
I will make your overseers peace
and your taskmasters righteousness.
Violence shall no more be heard in your land,
devastation or destruction within your borders;
You shall call your walls Salvation,
and your gates Praise.
Such a hopeful and inspirational post for Monday!

ReplyDeleteWow! God's word is for all time! I love reading Isaiah, one of my favorite verse is Isaiah 60;1 Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet comment on my porch floor! it is painted with an oil based paint, I did this myself. I might would have tried a colored stain first if I had my time to go back over, but I like the shine the oil gives and it is resilient a funny story, right when I had finished a lizard ran across the floor, got stuck, I had to tip toe over wet paint to rescue him, I was not a happy camper. lol
Blessings,
Sue
