  4. That is right Sandi, because Jesus is the light of the world and in Him there is no darkness. May we all continue to walk in Him.
    God bless

    1. I took this statement (not sure who said it) to mean evil=dark and good=light. I think we can do without evil.

If it means color, contrast, night, daylight...well, that's totally different! ;-) The sunrise would not be so stirring if we couldn't see it emerging over the horizon.

      Good to see you, Rain!

    2. That's how I see it...if I didn't have those long nasty cold horrible LONG NASTY COLD HORRIBLE long winters...is there an echo in here? LOL...then I wouldn't appreciate summer to much! :) But I agree, I can definitely do without evil, there is just too much of it in this world...not just outright evil, but passive aggressive evil too.

  6. So true and well said. It applies to so much. It is easy to forget about all those less fortunate when you are fortunate. Have to remind ourselves to be thankful for all our blessings and be charitable towards others.

  7. Sometimes to appreciate the light we have to walk in darkness.

  8. That is so very true! Until we see it enveloping others and want to rescue them.

  11. My son was discussing the villain in a book he is reading who turns out to be some sort of reptile. He said that he prefers his villains to be human so that he can understand them and learn how they got to be that way. Hmmm...who raised him? 😏 I reminded him that the greatest villain/s he will ever know are monsters of the worst kind and that there will be no way nor should there be any desire to know them or understand them. Great quote. Is it yours? I’d love to collect in my book of quotes by bloggers.

    1. A friend of mine used to say it all the time. I don't know where it came from, but I think she was quoting someone else.
