God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth
give way and the mountains fall into the heart
of the sea, though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.
Thank you, for visiting my blog...I look forward to getting to know you.
ReplyDeleteAmen, Sandi! May we not be afraid.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Nice words.
ReplyDeleteIndeed!!
ReplyDeleteAn awesome verse in deed!
ReplyDeleteThis Psalm makes me think of the children's song "My God is so Big" " "My God is so big so strong and so mighty there's nothing my God cannot do, for you! The mountains are His, the valleys are His, the stars are His handiwork too. My God is so big so strong and so mighty there's nothing my God cannot do, for you!"
Enjoy your day~
"an ever-present help", I love that verse.
ReplyDeleteAmen!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful verse and a great reminder when things seem to be crazy in the world.
ReplyDeleteWell chosen.
ReplyDeleteI am also reading Psalm 46 tonight, only the other end of it! So much to go along with our current world situation...
ReplyDeleteYes!
DeleteOn Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand. ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteWhat a comforting verse you have shared! How wonderful to know our God has it ALL in control :)
ReplyDeleteI too love this verse, and I also have a little pic of a red rose beside my bed with 'I love Thee O Lord my strength'on. Fear goes when the Lord is our strength.
ReplyDeleteThe verses you share always soothe and lift us up on those troubling days.
