She stared at the sky. It opened up. It had never rained like this before. Great torrents of healing water fell from the sky.
It consumed the darkness and spread the light. It pursued fear and overcame it quickly. It flowed, like a river, a mighty Niagara, cutting stone, destroying but shaping, conquering but freeing, choosing this way or that. For a reason. In this direction. This is the way. And then that. This and then that.
It is transformative rain from the river of life.
The season is here.
"If Winter should say she holds Spring in her heart,
who would believe Winter?"
You did not believe it, but it is here.
Spring has come.
Isn't it beautiful?
Yes, it is beautiful.

i believe that winter has spring in her heart and each time i step into her soul i embrace it to it's fullest :)
sorry for not replaying your comment at my previous post my friend ,just read it actually
we don't celebrate Christmas in actual means but yes we feel the spirit of this season through media and social media :) we do have Christian community in our country specially in bigger cities so we are familiar with tradition and excitement it brings along
i wish pray and hope dear Sandi that may you not (not any mom) should see the time when her children are living away from her ,missing them is terrible feeling and i know it deeply!
wish pry and hope may you see their happy healthy life with their future families and all close to you ,amen!
Thanks, Baili! 😊 Why does anyone have to go off on adventures? I think everyone should stay close to home...ha ha...but when I was young I went too.

Your prose is lovely, I really enjoyed reading this and seeing the image you chose to go with it! "Healing water"...yes! Water heals and washes away the bad energy that wears us down. Lovely lovely lovely!!! :)
