Sandi, We had a great weekend. My daughter came and brought us taco salad for lunch. She did a couple loads of her laundry while here. We spaced out. LOL You know , apart. I still laugh when I think of your comment, and how I had written that. Oh bless your heart for cheering me up. Later after Kathy went home , daughter Angie came by with some casserole for our supper. I wore my mask a lot but it was good to see my daughters. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie
Hi Sandi :)) These are strange days indeed. I hope you're doing well! Alex and I are finally relaxing. We have so much to do, but with water (hot and cold) now...we need a few days off! Though I am finally able to start the HUMONGOUS pile of laundry! I nearly brought out my old Halloween costumes to wear lol...we're so low on clean clothes!
I have my ups and downs. I'm finding I need to limit how much news I watch and the time I spend on Facebook or Instagram. I need many more hours in Bible reading and listening to good Christian music that is true to the Word of God. It's also good to converse with like minded folk.
I am very sick of covid! It's really affecting my place of work - not in illness, but more and more requirements and no more time to get it all done. Plus our people still can't see their families. Good verse for today!
Thankful for the Peace of God, Sandi. Without His peace, there is fear and confusion. It has been a time to seek Him and HIs Shalom as the scripture you shared shows there is a way to do that, to always fix our thoughts on Jesus. He is our Yeshua ,Salvation Blessings and Peace be with you Sandi, and all the readers here. My prayer today is that someone who doesn`t yet know their Saviour will say yes to entering into HIs Kindgom!!! Because His peace is just a `yes` away!!! Much love! I can`t imagine how I would have gotten through these `strange` days without knowing Him, and thankful that there was someone out there praying it for me 6 years ago!! Thank you whoever you may be!! Maybe it was you, Sandi??? xoxo
I'm mostly OK. Mostly same as usual. I don't mind masks or distancing except from Rick and the kids. I'm not bored, lots to do. I feel for so many others though, who are unemployeed.
WELL--- I'm doing fairly good, although I miss all of our trips we usually take... We did take a short trip in June and will do another one in August.. BUT--we are always reminded of Covid, and we still continue to stay very safe.. Since we love being out in nature, we can usually find places to go where there are almost no other people around!!!!!
The key is to always try to stay POSITIVE.... (Although with the horrible state of our country now, sometimes it isn't easy to stay positive.. God help us ALL.)
Honestly...we have had enough...sigh. Every single day King Cuomo issues more edicts and folks are just tired.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine.
