Flood

The river flows

It brings life to dead places

Do you know that song?

The river Jesus.

He brings life to dead places.

A flood is coming

It is surging now

Consuming the land

The sky

The Earth beneath

And we are caught in it.

It is Life.

It will change what we know

For some of us

Some of us know it already.

Do you?

Come and cleanse me, come forgive me Lord I need to meet you there..." (from To The River I Am Going song by Brian Doerksen)

How awesome to go to the River and be like a tree planted in the water that sends out its roots by the stream! Love this post!
We need that Flood desperately at these trying times! Blessings to you.

  9. Hi Sandi,
that river of life is the only water that soaks us in the Word of God. I love washing in it daily.

  10. I like the flowing of a river; even when it overflows a little and brings life to its environment.
I don't like it when it gets nasty and causes big flooding, endangering people and property.
