In an interview with Lex Fridman, Elon Musk said this:
At about two minutes in, he says he is not a religious man, but he got down on his knees and prayed before the SpaceX launch in 2020. A man who can do anything paused for a prayer. To me that is more than everything, even going to a faraway rock in the sky like Mars or the moon. This was good to hear, a hopeful way to start this New Year. Words fail me.
Thank you for sharing this. Yes, where there is prayer, there is hope. Even when a person says he isn't a "religious man", the fact that he acknowledged his need to pray to Almighty God shows that God is definitely at work in him, whether he realizes it or not. Let us pray for Elon Musk to find a RELATIONSHIP with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit in this New Year. Anything is possible with God!
ReplyDeleteAnything.
DeletePamela, this is so hopeful for Elon Musk. He will benefit greatly in every way from coming to know Christ. I am praying that is his path.
DeleteThat's very powerful, Sandi. Thank you so much for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing
ReplyDeleteHi Sandi,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Happy New Year!
That's not a matter of religion, but of Human Awareness that there's a higher Power that controls things(God, the Universe) and we should constantly pray to IT, for blessings and protection.
ReplyDeleteThere's organized religion, and there's having a relationship with God. They're not always the same thing.
ReplyDeletei enjoyed listening to him talk, i find him to be so relatable. i will be watching the show on Netflix, i'm glad you shared this. i find being religious to be different that having a belief in god!
ReplyDeleteEven though he said he is not a religious person, I think that the fact that he prayed and everything went fine will open up his mind to the fact that his prayer was answered, and that there could be a God.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. Not what I would have thought from him.
ReplyDeleteI did not know that about Elon Musk, I admire him. Now I am praying that he become a Christian, God is working in him. God hears our prayers and loves us.
ReplyDeleteGod welcomes all prayers from wherever they come.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you, Sandi.
Maybe he wanted to impress...
ReplyDeleteI wish you a Happy New Year!
I find it hard to believe anything he says, but that's me.
ReplyDeleteYou mean anything at all or just about prayer?
DeleteHis instincts were to pray...somewhere in his past, perhaps as a boy, someone made an impression on him about the act of prayer. Good for him.
ReplyDeletePraying God has mercy on him and calls him to be born again spiritually and that he responds!
ReplyDeleteInteresting post, thanks for sharing. I also think that we can have a relationship with God even if we don't follow an organized religion. Moreover we can pray with our own words and thoughts.
ReplyDeleteInteresting and fascinating.. God touches everyone of us...
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
We definitely need to move forward and put our trust in the Lord.

ReplyDelete“Every knee shall bow to me and every tongue shall confess to God.”
The truth of God is written on the minds and hearts of all men.
ReplyDeleteI think that is true.
