Yes, aptly named. Beautiful!! You don't have the lily pads like we have on our pond. We have way too many and it makes it difficult for the geese and ducks to navigate the water...also for me in my kayak, which is something I haven't done in quite a while. Thank you for sharing this beautiful picture of serenity with us. Love it.
Would love to sit there with my knitting. Such a pretty location, peaceful and serene. Popped in from a mutual friends blog...and spotted another Sandi, so waving hi from Sandy to Sandi
ps.....I just saw in the trunk of my car a photo that I took many years ago. The photo was of a sign that said "Serenity." I will keep it always as a reminder to remain in peace. Your title reminded me of that. : )
Oh, we did go back to the restaurant and called, but it was no longer there. That's when my Mom (grandma) made her a new doll. Right away, she knew it wasn't her original Raggedy Ann. But the funny thing is that she got attached to the second doll (grandma made both dolls), and has had her for 40 years! Thanks for visiting today, Sandi.
Indeed, serenity is what this nature picture above offers us.Water and greenery always has a calm, seren effect on my soul.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteReally is serene. Of course I would not mind hearing the birds and frogs.

ReplyDeleteThis DOES look like a place of serenity. I think that's what I like most about living in the mountains. Nature all around me.
