Do you know birds?

just saw a little bird

chase off a big bird (not Big Bird...ha ha).

  1. It's always so interesting to watch crows chase off Eagles! Usually they are protecting what is theirs like a nest or a baby.

  2. I've watched that happen too. :)

  3. The other day I watched a group of birds harass a hawk that was perched on top of a telephone pole. The hawk was immensely bigger than the birds, and it must have taken them a lot of courage.

  9. The little birds can go straight for the face of the big bird, and peck it.

  10. It's a lot like how God works, like David and Goliath. God is a big God! : ) He comes through in unexpected ways when people may think otherwise.

    Blessings!

  11. Size is the key in this scenerio.

  12. Maybe size doesn't matter ... passion does!

  13. Our Bluebirds are very feisty, and they chase away the much bigger Blue Jays and Crows and Cardinals and any other bird who dares to come near their nest/territory. They are extremely territorial. That's God's way of protecting their families.

  14. Hmm, I don't know. It must have been protecting something and chased that big bird away with a very focused purpose.

  17. It depends what it told the big bird. What were they talking about? Religion? Politics? Cost of living? Or the price of seeds?

    God bless.
