Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked,
“Are you for us or for our enemies?”
"Neither,"
he replied,
"but as commander of the army of the
Lord I have now come."
he replied,
"but as commander of the army of the
Lord I have now come."
Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, “What message does my Lord have for his servant?” The commander of the Lord’s army replied,
“Take off your sandals, for the place where you are
standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.
“Take off your sandals, for the place where you are
standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.
Joshua 5:13-15
There is so much I don't understand about the old testament. I have a friend whose son is a well-known old testament scholar. He's published over two hundred books and papers. I'm thinking of ordering one of his books. Have a good weekend, Sandi!

ReplyDeleteGod 's love for his all creations
ReplyDeletehe has left us with power of choice
but our choice still does not lessen his love for us
he can be angry but he cannot hate any of us because we are his creations so he is neutral to all his loved ones
i wish we can accept this
