green grass and trees
outside on the deck
purple flowers, yellow flowers
misty air
great-kids
my kids
memories
baked apples
Thunderstorms
not really thunderstorms
Heroes
villains who became heroes
hearts turned
An Avalanche of Blessings
What are you thankful for?
How simple and how beautiful can be gratitude!
ReplyDeleteI like very much the green trees, the blue sky and the clouds on this photo!
Thank you, Kaya. God bless you.
DeleteI am thankful for the gift of my children. Always. For family , friends, sunshine, rain when needed. :) Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteSigns of Fall, procedures done for the year, our children, sanctification, our grands, a faithful husband, God's mercy and kindness, Jesus who is greater than...
ReplyDeleteAll good things.
DeleteI'm grateful for the mere privilege of being alive and contemplating the beauty around. When I was younger I suffered a very nasty autoimmune disease. When such a thing happens you live in fear that it might return and finish you. So you're grateful for each good day.
ReplyDeleteEach day is a gift.
DeleteI'm glad you recovered and are here now, Duta.
Not really thankful for thunderstorms! But they do serve a purpose. Baked apples sound good!
ReplyDeleteHa ha, they do!

ReplyDeleteYes! Me too. Thank you, happyone.
DeleteSandi, eu sou grato por tudo
ReplyDeleteQue a vida dá ou nos tira.
Muitas vezes a mentira
É a verdade que eu me iludo.
Não importa e sobretudo
Ouçamos o som da lira
Que o silêncio nos inspira
A ouvir esse som mudo.
Amar e ter gratidão
Pelas coisas que nos dão
Ou nos tiram é humildade.
É ter alma e coração
É estar na dimensão
Da própria humanidade.
Belo poema, Sandi! E imagem extraordinária que nos acalma a mente e faz a alma maior! Grande abraço! Laerte.
Obrigado, Laerte!

ReplyDeleteI am thankful that He has enabled me to work for Him in leading a Bible Study at a local retirement community. I am thankful that I have reconnected with some of the girls in my high school graduating class.
