Big grin. All is well here...still in isolation here in Western NY (we call it home arrest, grin). No illness, and it is snowing, yep, snowing. One thing remains, friend, to which we repeat often, GOD IS GOOD.
To be honest, stress level is high here and viruses rising exponentially. Our governor locked us down today -- essential services only. Stay at Home till April 13. No egg hunt with the little ones this year, I'm afraid. But that's OK. Rick is getting groceries and I am staying in with Lizzie, who is blissfully unaware of everything but lunch, nap, and good girl treats. I envy her.
Lunch, nap, good girl treats. That's a good way to live. ๐
There are some stores here that have started delivering groceries. I think we will have them delivered the next time we need to shop. Thank God for the Internet.
Our schools are now closed until May 15. We are homeschoolers, so our guys are not getting a break. Their music lessons have been canceled until this is all over unless we can do that by Skype. Art class at the Community Center are probably too, but I haven't checked yet.
I do feel this will all work out. Maybe even better than before, in some ways.
I'm just ducky! But where are the ducks in the duck pond? Are they there? I love your pond. Is that on your property or near you? Enjoy the beauty and fresh air as much as possible!!
If you look really close you may see two geese taking off in the background. Maybe I should have titled this Goose Pond, but it didn't sound as folksy. We have ducks sometimes!
I'm doing nicely, I'm a homebody major anyhoo but am concerned about government over-reach more than anything. A concern. Some things don't add up in my opinion. Oh, well, a matter of prayer.
It does seem ODD, doesn't it? We are seeing people in every country all around the world doing the exact same thing as us here. It is strange to say the least.
Psalm 91-- yes! We have been reciting that one every day.
Hi Sandy :) Good, pretty good. Just got news that the bank sent the financials to the lawyers...so that means I will get their invoice in the next few days (cue dramatic scary music!!)...I sign the deed in ONE week!!! :) How are you doing?
It is amazing, and it was kind of over the internet it a way because we saw the ad there, our agent did a virtual tour with us and we signed everything electronically! I can't wait to see it in person...a little nerve-wracking I admit!! I'll be heading over there next week for a few days, Alex has to stay home with the pets but I will probably bring one of the dogs with me!
According to Google Maps, a 10 hour drive, ugh. I'm going to take 2 days to drive there but when I return to Qc, I want to drive it all in one shot. Thank you cruise control! :)
Pretty scene - and peaceful too. Our state (Mich) just got closed down for the next 3 weeks. I can be thankful for a nursing job though - no getting laid off.
Hi Sandi, We are fine, have enough food for a year:) What comes to mind is God's Word to stand on at this moment Psalm 103 v.3:- 'He who forgives all your iniquities, and heals all your diseases,' Bless our beautiful Lord.
Dear Sandi! Thank you very much for this question. In my country, masses are broadcast on television from many churches. What I experience most is my lack of live participation in Mass and receiving the sacrament of Communion.
doing good ,first vacation of my life that felt annoying as annual exams will be held late otherwise all good dear Sandi this is really appealing image ,the reflection speaks to me how nice to be home schooled ,i always wished to have my children taught same way but no such thing here until now except private school where we send our's i wish you and family happy healthy days my friend!
A little bummed this morning - dryer is not working the best and the virus scares me a bit when I have to go out grocery shopping. It's hard not being able to be around family cause they can't travel right now, but more thankful we're healthy.
Terry and I are snuggled in, well-supplied and grateful. It's awesome to be able to FaceTime with each of my siblings during this difficult time. I'm an introvert, and I can entertain myself endlessly. wishing you and your loved ones the best, Sandi! Hugs to you!

I mean, not being there in person.

Be safe at home:)
Can you receive it at home? I wonder if the priest can bless it from afar.
