Zephaniah 3:17



The Lord your God is in your midst,
    a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;
    he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.

    Hi Sandy! I always think that God loves to hear me sing to him...and this passage says he sings over me! I love that switch-up. What a wonderful relationship I can have with my maker, if I just desire it.

      YES, He sings over us. Reading this with my kids made us all giggle...he quiets us in His love and then BLAAAAAH, rejoices over us with LOUD singing. Giggled until A thought came to me....He quiets us first so we can hear Him singing!

    It's wonderful that God Himself sings. I don't think we get that anywhere else in the Scriptures.
