Liberation

Perfection will not be tolerated.

I read this on a teachers' email loop for a child's art class.
It was liberating...not to mention charming!

  2. Perfection leads to performance traps. I know...it was the path I was on for a very long time. Your word liberating sums up beautifully how I felt when I became a Christian and realized HE isn't about perfection, but a sincere heart. Thank you, Sandi!

  3. This made me laugh...I just got done reading about possible side effects of an anti-depressant medicine, and it actually said to call 911 or your doctor if you experienced "excessive happiness"...These things can be dangerous...just sayin' lol!
I don't think any of us can be accused of either one....at least not on this side of heaven.
    ~God bless~

  4. Great quote! Perfection can certainly be our enemy and cause much pain trying to live up to something we can never achieve. Letting go...liberation indeed : )

  7. I think one should not demand or aim for perfection but to try to be close to it is more than fine.

  8. No one need worry about perfection with me! Actually, though, I do like the thought.

  10. So true...seeking perfection is a rough road to travel...filled with disappointment and failure.
