Dearest Sandi, Bonjour! I just noticed that you came by my blog (Les Dames D'Abord) and left me a wonderful comment. I am not French (but do have a little bit on my mother's side!) and I am a French teacher. The latest news out of France has yet again pierced my heart, for I lived in Nice, I love the French people, I have many friends here in my city who are French, and they are wonderful people. Thank you for your kind words; yes, I am trying to figure out in my poet-wannabe-mind how to deal with this. Forgiveness, reparation and putting down the violence, in my small mind, are the answers!
Hi Sandi, Thank you for talking back at Harvest Lane Cottage. I'm glad the post was good timing for you.
Lord God, please wash Sandi with the perfect peace that passes all understanding. Help her be a non-anxious presence in a chronically anxious world. Amen
Sandi, here's the key. I'm learning to use it myself.
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Be blessed and aware of Holy Spirit's whispers in your ear. He is with you and loves you deeply.
Simply lovely, dear Sandi. Have a wonderful and blessed day. Hugs!
