Things

"Remember that you have only one soul;
that you only have one death to die;
that you only have one life...

If you do this, there will be many things
about which you care nothing."

St. Teresa of Avila

  9. Others have already quoted what I thought about "One life to live...twill soon be past...only what's done for Christ will last." That is something to remember as we go through this life. All our precious "things" can't go with us to heaven...only that which we did for Christ will go with us to heaven...kind of puts things in a new perspective...Thank you for this reminder.

  14. Hi Sandi, I can only guess how great it would be to sit down with St. Teresa of Avila and talk with her about life. This one quote is so true. Thanks, as always, for sharing.

    we often forget most important things and lost in the jungle of ignorance and run after mirage like mad until end of the day we realize that we wasted all our precious moments after rubish
