Thanks

green grass and trees
outside on the deck
purple flowers, yellow flowers
misty air
great-kids
my kids
memories
baked apples
Thunderstorms
not really thunderstorms
Heroes
villains who became heroes
hearts turned
An Avalanche of Blessings

What are you thankful for?

  4. I'm grateful for the mere privilege of being alive and contemplating the beauty around. When I was younger I suffered a very nasty autoimmune disease. When such a thing happens you live in fear that it might return and finish you. So you're grateful for each good day.

  7. Sandi, eu sou grato por tudo
Que a vida dá ou nos tira.
    Muitas vezes a mentira
É a verdade que eu me iludo.

    Não importa e sobretudo
    Ouçamos o som da lira
    Que o silêncio nos inspira
    A ouvir esse som mudo.

    Amar e ter gratidão
    Pelas coisas que nos dão
    Ou nos tiram é humildade.

    É ter alma e coração
    É estar na dimensão
    Da própria humanidade.

Belo poema, Sandi! E imagem extraordinária que nos acalma a mente e faz a alma maior! Grande abraço! Laerte.
