If you have no where to walk, come walk with me.
From around the world:
Jeevan is in India
Shayndel is in Japan
Pamela is in Florida
And we are all locked down. What do you think about that?
It is astonishing to say the least. We've had pandemics before, some worse than this, but we have never shut everything down.
The Internet is a glorious invention. It takes us on walks together.
It provides us with information. It provides us with misinformation.
It is sometimes hard to tell the difference.
But isn't it strange? Has the whole world ever done the exact same thing at the exact same time? Yes, I am looking for answers. No, I don't have one for you. I hope you have one for me!

Dear Sandi!
ReplyDeleteI dream of a walk in the park or forest. Unfortunately, we have bans. We must stay at home. Lovely photos. thank you that I could see beautiful green landscapes.
God's blessing for you, my friend!
I send hugs and greetings from distant Poland.
Lucja
Do you have a yard to walk in?
DeleteYou do have all your blog photos. They are beautiful! Aren't you glad you went to all those places? 🙂 I am!
The tranquility and beauty of nature urges for long walks.
ReplyDelete❤️
DeleteSo beautiful and peaceful! I think we are all looking for answers now.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ginny.
DeleteHi, this is just my comment to Sandi, since I don't find your area to write a comment. Beautiful pond or lake, thank you for the views. We bloggers are united around the world. Hello from California.
ReplyDeleteYes, so glad for the internet so I could take a walk with you. What a peaceful place to walk, and those red flowers! They look like Lilies? Well, I don't have all the answers, but I did share a verse from The Pope that might comfort you. : )
ReplyDelete~Sheri
The bottom photo is a lily, I believe.
DeleteThank you for the verse!
I am so glad you have where to take walks! We are thankful that we do have some rural roads here. Beautiful photos of peaceful surroundings! We want answers that's for sure! Pray you are doing fine Sandi!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Angela. I used to live in a city. So glad now for country roads.
DeleteFor sure I'm happy that in this lock down we still have electricity and the internet. Never been a time like this in any of our lives for sure. Thank you for the walk.
ReplyDeleteYES, thankful for the things we do have!
DeleteI'm sure thankful that I can still go on my morning walks.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are beautiful.
Me, too, because I like reading your posts about your walks! 😊
DeleteAhh love that walk! i'll have to check out their links. I'm still going out every day as possible walking around the mountain lakes up here.
ReplyDeleteThat sound beautiful, Sandy!
DeleteBeautiful. My only piece of advice; don't believe everything you see or read. That's all I got, smiles.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a lovely rest of the week. smiles
I think we are being lied to in many ways.
DeleteI don't think the entire world ever has been shut down at the same time. Even in wars, there is usually some spot not "involved." The internet is indeed amazing. If you saw my Anne Frank post you know how different it was then. We may be anxious and afraid but we can be anywhere in the world we want to be, thanks to the net. And that helps.
ReplyDeleteSo true!
DeleteThe kids and I "went" to the Hermitage Museum and Disney World last week.
We have a lot to be thankful for! 🎈
I've been talking via internet to a friend in Ireland and England and we have also remarked on how unusual this is.
ReplyDeleteYour walk is beautiful!
Thank you, Mari!
DeleteAlmost seems as if we're in the middle of some evil master plan to instill fear... I think most of the world should buckle up. As for me, I am happy to enjoy a lovely walk with you, Sandi. Keep looking up:)
ReplyDeleteAlmost... 😉
DeleteThank you Sandi for sharing your walk and how we are all connected!! I think recently of that "we are all in the same boat" and the scriptures where in the storm and the disciples being fearful, He reminds them! He is there in the boat!! Through your post too I am reminded that Jesus is in our boat! May we keep calling on Him to calm the storm around us and to help us know the Peace that goes beyond all understanding that He provides to us at all times!! Blessings and Shalom!
ReplyDeleteAMEN! Thank you, Shayndel. 🙂
DeleteOrada yürümek isterdim. Çok güzel.
ReplyDeleteTeşekkür ederim!
DeleteLindas as fotografias.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e boa semana.

Obrigado, Francisco!
DeleteThank God I have a place too, to take lovely walks. Thanks for posting the pretty and peaceful photos.
ReplyDeleteI'm not listening to the liberal media, they are only trying to destroy just like...Tokyo Rose.
I appreciate you! God bless you Sandi!
I try not to watch too much news myself.
DeleteI appreciate you too, Amelia! 😊
Has the WHOLE world ever prayed before?
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
GOOD question, Victor. And good to think about. It is hopeful.
DeleteBeautiful capture and quite peaceful environment to walk through! Take care
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jeevan!
DeleteI dream of getting out of the house. I might make it to the front porch today, maybe. Still nursing this foot and ankle.
DeleteWell, then, this is the perfect walk for you! 😊
DeleteThank you, Agnieszka and Terra! 🌸
ReplyDeleteIt is Nice to see the blogs you have picked out-Specially like the blog from Polen.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes it is Nice to go on hiking..Looking forward to be up in Our Mountains..I dont know butI do fine .but I know many many have it very bad--so It is good to say a prayer for the world..no matter if one is a christian or not..
Together we are strong
Wish you all good and thanx for sharing Nice post :)))
Thanks, Anita! I went over to your blog. Beautiful scenery and I am your newest Follower.
DeleteThank you sincerely I needed this!
ReplyDelete❤️
DeleteHi Sandi :)) Nice walk! Thanks for sharing. Oh answers...nobody really has answers do they? I was in the hardware store the other day buying a clothesline for the new place (we won't have a washer and dryer)...the clerk was about 10 feet behind me trying to direct me to the right place, saying "further, further, turn right, okay, a little further..." it was so weird!!
ReplyDelete😂
DeleteI know it's not funny, but that is FUNNY!!!! Ha ha...sigh. We are all so weird. I wore mechanic's latex work gloves to the grocery store. I saw a lady there with a surgical face mask and gardening gloves. It really is bizarre and yet hilarious and...well, I recently watched a video of a You Tuber I watched in better times and she has it. She said it is a struggle to breath deeply. She is in recovery and is being treated.
All that to say it is horrible as well.
DeleteYou know, I do feel for those suffering, with all of the media lately, I guess if you've contracted the virus, you can't help thinking the worst...but I do try to be logical about it at the same time...
DeleteOne funny thing I saw, the lady at the pharmacy was wearing a clear/plastic welding helmet to keep safe. Good for her!
It's not a bad idea!
DeleteWell, at least we can laugh while we cry.
Sad but true!
DeleteNice collection of photos.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for the internet - we can communicate with people from all over the world and see their surroundings, how they are coping at this trying time.
Thank you, Margaret!
DeleteThank you for this beautiful walk together. Your pond area is so lovely, and a perfect place to sit and rest beside "the still waters" and draw closer to the Lord. That is what I believe this time is all about. Jesus is drawing us closer to Him during these day. I pray that many will listen and obey His voice. Thank you for bringing so many of us together here. That is a blessing.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Pamela. That is beautiful.
DeleteSon muy buenas las fotos. Con tanta belleza, que hay en los alrededores, ha sido un placer, caminar contigo.
ReplyDeleteBesos
Obrigado 😊
DeleteI so appreciate the walk with you..beautiful images.
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question on my bog..the pig lungs are the same size as humans and respond the same way.
In the Opthalmology field pig eyes are used for practice as they are the same size and react the same as humans too.
Hmm...I wonder why humans and pigs are so similar? 🤣
Delete☺
ReplyDeleteAlso 🙂
DeleteThank you for taking us on this virtual walk Sandi. Very pretty scenery. I never expected our present circumstances in my lifetime. It is mind boggling that so many of us are sharing the same situation. I have several family members overseas and we are all seeing the same. Wishing you all good health.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Denise. It is all so unusual. Everything!
DeleteThank you for taking me on this beautiful walk.
ReplyDeleteWe are indeed all in this together. While I have longed for world unity, this was not what I had in mind.
Stay well, stay safe.
Ha ha...true, not what I had in mind either!
DeleteThank you, Joyful.
ReplyDeletejust the kind of place I would like to be - sit and watch the sky
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't think we've ever done this together as a world ever before this. Strange times. Looks like a lovely walk.
