John 13:34-35

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

  1. THE most important commandment. All others flow from this one.

  2. YES. I always know a true Christian by their love, even here on blogger, I can tell whether they are a true Christian or just the meetin' house kind. Many times at the store I'll run into someone who is just so sweet and full of the Lord. I ask *those* people what church they attend because I know those people probably attend a pretty good church. : )

You are a sweet loving blogger Sandi. I always appreciate you and what you have to say. Bless you!

  3. Amen! We are seeing different kinds of outpouring of love in these past few days, and them some outpourings of hatred too. Praying for our country to get back to "love".

  12. Hi Sandi,
this is a scripture that is a great reminder of how I am to be in the Lord. The really important aspect of 'love' is 'not to keep a record of wrongs', and it is a good way of checking that we truly have God's love in our hearts. God bless.

  13. Orders are extremely profound. Reminding us all to spread love for each other, there is no enmity on earth.
    I send friendship greetings.

  15. Love and kindness go together. As I advance in age, I become more skeptical as to whether mankind is really capable of spreading the two vital emotions.

  16. "By this all people will know that YOU ARE my disciples, if you have love for one another."

That hits the heart... To be known as Jesus' disciples if believers follow this greatest commandment! To be motivated by the love He pours into each believer's heart is a beautiful act of worship in Spirit and Truth. Blessings.

  17. Thanks for this reminder, Sandi. I sure needed it, as I'm dealing with a neighbor issue again. He has a plumbing issue going on right now, and I have to hear about it day and night, as our houses are somewhat connected. The last few days, not good.
