And what more shall I say? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets— who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight.
What a powerful reminder of the kind of faith that doesn't just sit quietly. This kind of faith fights and moves and endures...Happy Friday
ReplyDeleteHeroes of the Faith!
ReplyDeleteWe have so many faith-filled men and women in the Bible to encourage us in our walk here on earth. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful biblical characters.
ReplyDeleteI wish you a beautiful weekend.
Heroes of the Faith. I think maybe we still have some fighting for the Lord, but we just don't hear about it. I can't wait to meet these heroes of old. Oh the stories they will share with us all someday in Glory.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
I have to call them Heroes of Faith too.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly tell us about the Strength of the Lord and how we can live through Him too.
