You Are Precious.


Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. 


Psalm 116:15


We recently lost someone dear. While she was near the end the Lord reminded me of this verse. There is a bit if envy for us still here, isn't there? She knew Jesus, knew Him well, and so she is in His presence at this moment. Do you know Him, Jesus of the Bible? He is real. He is the savior of mankind. There is no one like Him. There is no one like you either, by the way. Each soul is precious to God. You are precious to God.

    Thank you for this reminder. I've just lost a dear friend as well, and yes, she definitely and enthusiastically knew the Lord, and "I can only imagine" what it must be like for her now, being face to face with Jesus, and being overwhelmed in His Presence. I miss her already, but I know where she is, and someday we will meet again. Thank you for this sweet reminder of being "precious to God". Yes, we are precious in His sight. "I can only imagine"....

    Yes, I am a sister in Christ. There are joyful reunions in heaven going on as family, friends and people I want to meet like C.S. Lewis will all be there. All people are invited to become followers of Jesus and then they will be welcomed in.

    Yes, I do! And I am very envious of your friend. The darkness in the world is something to be left behind to live in the light of Jesus. I'm sorry for your loss but very happy for your friend.

    It is very sad when we lose a loved one, but we have a wonderful God Who sent His precious Son to us, to be sacrificed on that cross, that we might go to the most beautiful place after leaving life on earth and meet our loved ones again. God bless you as you journey on in our Lord.

    As I get older, I think a lot more of Heaven and finally seeing Jesus face to face. I'm sorry you lost your special one. But if you know Jesus, what an eternity awaits us! What a wonderful thought!

    I do know that even as it is hard to grasp as to why. I am so grateful, though. The God of everything loves me. It is so good to know where the friends we love are headed when they die. What a comfort. Peace to you...
