Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
John 4:13-14
One day I came to Him I was so thirsty
ReplyDeleteI ask for water, my throat was so dry
He gave me water that I had never dreamed of
But for this water, my Lord had to die
He said I thirst yet He made the rivers
He said I thirst yet He made the seas
I thirsted said the King of the ages
In His great thirst, he brought water to me
Words from a song, titled, I thrist.
Hi Sandi,
ReplyDeleteI can truly say 'Amen' to both the scripture that you have put up and the lovely song that Betty has left in her comment.
God bless.
Hi Sandi! This quote has so many implications in life. Not being satisfied with things of this world, but to reach for the water that comes from Jesus. He gives more life than anything I could find on my own.
ReplyDeleteSunday blessings,
Ceil
Such a good reminder to focus on the spiritual food and drink instead of the physical. Thanks for sharing the word, Sandi!
ReplyDeleteHi Sandi The verse you chose is a good reminder to us that we are responsible to maintain our connection to Him. Thank you for your visit to my blog. I hope that you are not alarmed anymore. I did answer some other comment's including yours with some general information that I found online. But I do understand your reaction because it was my reaction! I will be posting about lead in dinnerware again at some future point. Ronda
