Word for 2018

Move

“Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain,
‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’
and does not doubt in his heart,
but believes that what he says will
come to pass, it will be done for him.” Mark 11:23

“And Jesus answered them,
“Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt,
you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree,
but even if you say to this mountain,
‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’
it will happen.” Matthew 21:21

What in life do you think can not move or can not change?
I think this year we will see those things move, all of them.

Where will 2018 take you?
That was a title on a magazine I received today.
It made me smile.
I think this year will be transformative.

What about you?

God chose things despised by the world,
things counted as nothing at all,
and used them to bring to nothing
what the world considers important.
1 Corinthians 1:28 NLT

  1. Hi Sandi :))
Yes...I also agree that 2018 will be a year to transform and move! Last year for me was more about experimentation, trying new things, learning from mistakes...I planted my first garden, I tried the cheese making, we got unexpected foster dogs...the list goes on. Life seems to be settling a little...falling into place. I love the symbolism of the mountains...solid, strong, majestic and secure...this is what I hope for my 2018!!

  4. Oh I love your word, MOVE...and yes, I am glad that it is not "subliminal", but an actual word of faith! I do believe that God has some big plans in store for us in 2018, and some of them may require us to exercise our faith and say to that mountain, "MOVE"...and God will do it! I love the verses you chose as well. This is getting my thinking juices flowing. Still working on my word. God will reveal it to me in due time, I am certain.
