Nobody

I sought the Lord and He found me.

Brothers and sisters, think of what you were
when you were called. Not many of you were
wise by human standards; not many were influential;
not many were of noble birth.
1 Corinthians 1:26

  1. I was very young and immature, but the Lord saw through that to what He had planned for me, and He called me to His service. So thankful that He sought me out before I had a chance to wander too far away.

  2. Yes, Jesus chose humble fishermen, and not nobles as his disciples. Your sunflower is gorgeous, is it yours?

  4. Sadly the wise and the influential in our secular world are often poles apart.

  6. The sunflower is a symbol of adoration and loyalty to God, the creator of the sun and of everything in Nature.
    The picture of the sunflower is beautiful and perfectly suits your post.

  11. Yes, Sandi, you're right.

    PS - The Father watches his Son after being crucified by the Romans, for the sins of the world to be forgiven. Artist's way of seeing religion.

  12. You hit the nail on the head in a comment I read today. Europe has gone mad and it will get even madder. An unelected IMF director has now been appointed Prime Minister of Italy against the will of 70% of Italians as expressed at the ballot box. This is seriously mad.
