Bible

The bible is like no other book. Reading it changes us. Speaking it changes things. The words in it are life.
I don't know how. But I have seen it.

Deuteronomy 6:6-9

And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

  2. This is the principle underlying the Bible: God is one, Love Him, Fear Him, Be devoted to Him - teach your children to do the same.

    1. You were a nun! You are the second former nun I have met on here. I'm sorry to hear why you left. I am not Catholic myself, just Christian, but I hope you did not lose your faith in God when His people let you down.

I love Psalm 139... If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

Even there. Even wherever you are now.

      Blessings.

    2. "15 My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them." … I did believe somewhat after5 I left the convent but lost all of my believe in anything since my daughter died, friend Sandi … I think it only takes one dead baby in your arms in order to not to believe anything nor anybody anymore … U r sweet and innocent … enjoy your ride … Love, cat.

  10. The Bible is our Light in the darkness...our Guide when we are lost, and our Hope for our future. I cannot imagine what our lives would be like if we didn't have the Bible. So sad, hopeless, and dark. Thank You, Lord, for giving us Your Word. Your Word is Truth.
