Eagles

Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary, and
his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary and
increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40:28-31

  1. Beautiful and true reminder of God's strength and our weakness. Even the younger among us get weak and tired.
    In our daily prayer to God, we should therefore confess of our weakness and ask Him for help.

  5. This is beautiful, Sandi. I needed His strength today while dealing with car issues.

    *Sandi, that is a good question cause I'm not sure what kind of animal that was on my post. I just saw it on the side of a house driving by. One comment mentioned goat, so maybe that's it, but another mentioned he looked like a llama. He's not a llama cause of his body size. I saw one recently, and they have longer necks. I guess I would say a goat? But he does have a deer's body, like you said. : )

  6. This is so true, I have been shown God's mercy and He has held me through so much this year. I am so richly blessed, Praises to our God. I love that He will not grow weary or tired!
