What makes you say that? I don't know about the world but I'm sure God is fed up with us and He might strike. Islands are probably going to get swallowed by the ocean. Get inland, folks!
I stand corrected. We are His kids and He loves us.Wants to heal us,not to hurt us. But I'm not sure it's possible,it's rather late, and in order to heal He might have to strike. So,what do you mean by the world's awakening? I see the same old, stupid, cruel, impotent world around me. Perhaps you see something else.
I see the world, too, in deep sorrow, but I feel the awakening. Jesus makes me see. There's no other way I can say it.
(That word, corrected, makes me feel very sad here...like it doesn't belong. We are just two people standing here together, looking out our windows. We see what we see. If I can't see something, you point it out. If you can't see, I'll point.)
Free will makes religion a choice.God wants unity and some law and order. We must embrace the good with much positive energy. Evil is tough to ward off and lately it feels like there is too much. The ride is meant to bring joy but some cannot feel it. Fear is holding them back.
This is beautiful. I also believe that we are at the opening to a great change. I am ever hopeful. I believe that our loving God is in control and also that he gives us free will. Free will is what we must use now to change this world so that we may all (ALL OF US) live in a world where there is peace, and compassion, and love for one another.
Also, thank you for posting this. As I read through some of the comments I realized that for you to post this was a brave act. I applaud you for that. God bless you.

ReplyDeleteHe loves us
DeleteHe is for us not against us
Like we love our kids
He wants to heal us
Not strike us

So, it's more like feeling the awakening.
DeleteThanks for your clarifying reply, Sandi.
Yes! Sometimes you can't see with your eyes, only your heart.

Have faith.

ReplyDelete"...lately it feels like there is too much."
DeleteThere is too much. We can't do it alone.
A roller coaster pretty much sums up the world these days.
ReplyDeleteTop of the roller coaster seems about right.
ReplyDeleteWill the world wake up? will people be persuaded?
ReplyDeleteThere is a lot of evil. Man murders a man, brother murders brother.
Blessed weekend.
Great poem! I want a peaceful world, not a roller coaster.
ReplyDeleteGood will be eternal.
ReplyDeleteOh, that last line!
ReplyDeleteTo be sure!
I've been saying "Maranatha" a lot lately.
ReplyDeleteIt is a bit scary being at the top of the roller coaster...
ReplyDeleteSomething is definitely happening in the heavenlies.
ReplyDeleteHello, there is hope if the world is awakening. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and new week ahead.
