Quote

"No one in the kingdom of God is too weak to experience God’s power, but many are too confident in their own strength."

  2. Very true! For some, it is hard to turn things over to God, they want to rely on their own strength.

  3. Over self-confidence is even worse than low self-confidence.

  5. Oh yes...we think we can take care of ourselves...we've got it covered...we don't need God's help...and OH what a mistake that is! Where would we be without Him? I don't even want to think...

  6. I had John MacArthur confused with Douglas MacArthur, and that created a dissonance. Good quote, and now the source makes sense.

  8. Hi Sandi,
that is true. It is much better to be week in ourselves as believers in Christ, for then He is strong.

  12. Yes.
for when I am weak then I am strong.
    2 Corinth 12:10

The kingdom truth... so much to unlearn (from what the world teaches) and relearn.
    Have a blessed week!♡

  13. Hi Sandi, Thanks for coming to my blog. Debbie's daughters range in age from about 16 to 30 (give or take).... They all knew their Mom's problems --and were so happy that she had her last two years with Mark. The oldest daughter is married with about 4 children. The youngest lives with her Dad. All seem to be doing well. There are lots of girls surrounding Mark... Besides these four young women, he has two daughters, has a granddaughter -with another granddaughter on the way, AND his girlfriend has one daughter --with a new granddaughter... Crazy, huh????

Thanks again for caring. God Bless You.
    Love,
    Betsy

  16. GREAT quote dear Sandi!

we are scattered pieces of God 's power i believe

one who realize this truth has strength beyond limits

confidence of having my own power makes my power limited and weak because there is no thing like "own power"

  18. Dear Sandi, what I keep learning again and again about the confidence in this Scripture proves that old adage: "Man proposed, but God disposes." I had such plans that began on Monday, January 7, but then on New Year's Day I got sick and I've been truly down deep, under the weather for three weeks. But today I'm feeling almost myself again. What those three weeks were would be, as Bonhoeffer said, "an interruption by God." ! Peace.

  19. I think this is even more true now than in the past, as we have so much available to us to help us get by on our own and not ask for God's help.
