Instead

Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress;
instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle;
and it shall make a name for the Lord,
an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

Isaiah 55:13

  1. Isaiah is one of my favorite books in the Bible. I read it more than any other I think. This whole chapter is amazing.

  2. It does seem to be that way doesn't it. Sometimes it's actually for the better in many cases.

  20. We are often surprised by what happens when it's not what we expect. But God is never surprised. I want to learn to accept whatever He designs as best for me. I want what I want way too often. I'm working on it!
    Blessings,
    Betsy
