As a newbie then, I asked the Lord to show me what verse can equip me as I witnessed spiritual attacks w/some family years ago. This was the verse He showed me, followed by Psalm 23 and 91.
Years later, I realized we needed to depend on Him, not by our own might but by His when dealing w/things. God is awesome. And good. All the time :) Thank you for this and giving it back at you to stay strong in the Lord's mighty power.
Hi Sandi! :)) Thanks for your comment on my blog! For the pastry crusts...this is my FOOLPROOF recipe. I've never had any problems with it and it's delicious. I think I got it originally from Martha Stewart: http://www.rainfrances.com/p/perfect-pie-crust_28.html
Dear Sandi! May this Christmas bring smiles at your doorstep joy in your heart and love and togetherness of friends and family in your home. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hi Sandi, When I first looked at this post I didn't notice the date of publication. My first thought was, wow, this is perfect for today! :-) I now see the date was in November. Maybe the lesson is: this is perfect for every day! :-) Thank you for recently stopping by John's Island and your kind comment. Happy New Year to you and yours. John
Powerful words. Thank you for your comment, Sandi. The invitation to feed the little birds is mine. :) While I had to be away from our home (even at Christmas), I wanted to remind my family members to help our feathered friends. Have a blessed new year!

this is so kind of you share your experience with me ,i am sorry for late response as we had to visit Sukkur city for some shopping and got back late evening i would love to hear from you if you like my friend ,it can help me to not just understand it more but to realize that there is another person who does not hesitate to share his deepest heart i wonder if you revisit to see my late response so i am leaving it here in your comment box too b
Wow! Time is flying by! I hope that everything is all right with you. November, December, and January melted away somewhere. I feel like it's been a dream. I take comfort in these words from Matthew: "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." I know that there are important words before and after this sentence, but this is what comes to me in stressful times and it fills me with peace and calm. Wishing you peace and calm: rest, my friend!
I just wanted to say hi and share that I made Dandelion Jelly this year after having a lifetime of these blessed flowers I finally made my jelly. It tastes just like clover honey! So amazing. Thank you Dandelion Tea for sharing small but big blessings of God's Word.
Praise God, there is life after death, here on earth as we are dead in our sins, brought to life when Christ enters our life. Then we face death again when we leave this earthly dress of flesh for eternity.
Hi Sandi, hope you are ok in these trying times. Yes, we must definitely stay strong in the Lord. Hope you will put up a new post soon, miss you. God bless.
