I am going on an Away Mission. You fellow Trekkies out there know what that means. I wanted to let you know why I am not stopping by your blogs and commenting. I am turning off the world. I will be on my balcony.
In the meantime, a promise from Isaiah 60:
I will make your overseers peace and your taskmasters righteousness.
Violence shall no more be heard in your land,
devastation or destruction within your borders;
you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.
Enjoy your sabbatical. Sounds delightful to me. May I join you? LOL.
ReplyDeleteYES! 😀
DeleteSandi: Enjoy yourself.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful restful time.

ReplyDeleteBoa tarde Sandi. Desejo uma ótima tarde de quarta-feira.
ReplyDeleteDear Sandi, like you, I find myself at times--recently more often--needing to go off into the desert of reflection to put things or to get things back into perspective and to recalibrate my moral compass. I hope that you are finding in your sabbatical what your soul needs right now. Peace from Dee Ready (cominghometomyself blog)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dee.
DeleteMay your break restore and fulfill you, Sandi! I'm just getting back after a break, part planned, part forced. Take care!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a serene meaningful and enjoyable break!

ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a nice break, Sandi. Sometimes we just need to get away for awhile. About the quilt at the airport.....I wondered the same thing. I'm not sure why they had the quilt displayed on the wall at the airport, but it was a pleasant change, and the quilt itself was so charming, with various shades of purple. To me, it was like artwork on the wall. I've always thought it was such a talent to sew quilts. Thank you for visiting. Take care.

DeleteBoa noite Sandi. A estátua simboliza as pessoas que pulam de parapente para as rampas da Baía de Guanabara e Lagoa de Piratininga. Tem uns parapentes desmontados.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a restful break,
