The Meaning of Life

To know God and to make Him known.

I know Him.

Does anyone know I know someone Who loves them?

He chose to die on a cross for you. What a horrible thing to do.

What a horrible thing to say. Christianity is horrifying.

Sacrifice is ugly, but it saved me from all the darkness.

When I tell you in my small way, do you know?

  1. Hello Sandi: I think often of the sacrifice Jesus made for our sins, I also think of the heart wrenching that Mary and believers had to go through witnessing him dying on the Cross.

    Gods Blessings to you

  3. The important thing to remember is that Christ died for our sins and because of that we will join Him in heaven when our days here on earth are through, Peace and blessings to you and yours.

  6. Yes! Yes! Yes! Leviticus 16 tells us the role of the high priest. It took blood to atone for our sins. Jesus was our Great High Priest and the sacrifice as well. All Praise, Honor, Glory and Power be unto God and to the Lamb forever and ever!!

  7. Because of His great love for the Father and for us, He willingly died on the cross to defeat death once and for all so that we could have life to the full. It's a mystery how God can love us so much despite of our sinfullness.

  9. "Cursed is anyone who dies on a tree." It is a reference to Deuteronomy 21:23 in the Old Testament. In the New Testament, specifically in Galatians 3:13, this verse is quoted. It is often associated with the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, who fulfilled the prophecies of the Bible that pointed to Him.

Although someone who dies on a tree was originally regarded as cursed, the death of Jesus on the cross is seen as a fulfillment of prophecies in the Bible and as an act of love and redemption.

  11. Hi Sandi,

Good Sunday morning to you. I just found another “quiet whisper” on the very loud Internet and was immediately reminded of Dandelion Tea, so I’m stopping by to share my discovery. It’s called Tea with Jesus, and today’s episode is #317, 1 Corinthians 5-6, Reigning with Christ. Hope you enjoy.

  12. It is heartbreaking thinking of Mary witnessing this cruelty and being helpless to do anything about it.
