I think when you realize - and I see it so much better as I age - that our days are numbered. And what you do with them is much more important (than you realized when you were younger). Brings you closer to God too.
I think that is my verse for this year, as "wisdom" is my One Word for the year. I didn't really pick a verse, but that was the one that popped up first, so maybe that is it. I'm still watching for verses about wisdom to come up in my devotional reading. Thank you for sharing this one. Have a blessed rest of your day/weekend.
Amen, we need all the wisdom we can get especially today!! Well, all my posts have been fine since the one I had to remove, so happy about that. Hope you have a good week ahead. Blessings, Nellie
Wonderful reminder, it reminds me of the Chris Rice song, 'Teach us to Count the Days' I hope you are doing well, I'm having pc troubles over here and it's cramping my blogging and commenting these days!
Dear Sandi! I know about the fires in Los Angeles. I hope you are okay and that you do not live in California.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Irena! I am on the other side of the country, about 3000 miles from Los Angeles.
DeleteI thank our Lord for this!

Wisdom grows or becomes stunted as we age. I've seen both.
ReplyDeleteYes I wish I had turned to look at President Kennedy too. Sometimes I have been obedient to a fault... Sue
