Love the quote and I agree with all the above! I think it also says we can know ABOUT Jesus, but when we actually know HIM personally, well, that makes the difference.
HI Sandi! I too, like this quote! To me - faith and trust in my Savior. He is always there for me no matter what, even when I feel alone - He's there! Thanks for popping in to see me and have a nice weekend. Be a sweetie, Shelia ;)
I suppose that quote could mean to me that the Christian way of thinking opens my eyes to things that I would not see if I were not a Christian. I am a C.S. Lewis fan so when I did a pay-back visit, this interested me. I love the way blogs are each as unique as the people who write them. Thank you for visiting at Grandma Mary Martha. I am going to enjoy looking around a bit, not here at yours. By the way, I am a teacher also !
You see and understand a lot of things if you believe.
ReplyDeleteIt's all about faith and trust.
ReplyDeleteI have that quotation on my sidebar. Christianity sheds a light of understanding giving meaning and purpose to life.
ReplyDeleteThe closer I get to Him, the more I see as He sees directing my perspective and path. Lovely quote!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lynn!
DeleteA lovely quote! Thanks for sharing, have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteHi Sandy! To me, this means "Christ is my Light". Without Him, I can't see anything clearly!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Ceil

Knowing Christ personally removes the scales from my eyes and I see clearly the Light of my Savior.
ReplyDeleteWith Him I see the Truth, praise His Holy Name!
