War - why the why? Maybe the man in his God lost interests Or you have not believed for a long time. Different from you, And excepting the atheists, In dark nights of breus The man looks and does not see. The planet is full And the man looks at his side Without feeling that there are people. Selfish, sees only Your little things. Behold, the man is sick. Big hug. Laerte.
As long as we live, there will always be wars. For some reason, it is the nature of most men. All we can do is pray. I believe there is no just war, and all are unnecessary.
We cannot comprehend the whys of any war...but wars have come and gone since the beginning of time...and the Bible tells us there will be even more before the Lord returns...but we can pray for these innocent victims...the children especially. May God be merciful to these little ones.
My heart goes out to those people who are so innocent in that country...and yes, there have been wars in that area of the world for a very long time...but I think of all the innocent ...especially the children who have to suffer the effects of those in power...
It's beyond my capacity to understand, and I always wonder why I am blessed with a peaceful life and so many other innocent people endure such horrors.
Guerra - por que o por quê?
ReplyDeleteTalvez o homem nos seus
Interesses perdeu Deus
Ou há muito tempo não crê.
Diferente de você,
E excetuando os ateus,
Em escuras noites de breus
O homem olha e não vê.
O planeta está lotado
E o homem olha seu lado
Sem sentir que existe gente.
Egoísta, enxerga apenas
As suas coisas pequenas.
Eis que o homem está doente.
Grande abraço. Laerte.
For my English speaking readers, a translation:
DeleteWar - why the why?
Maybe the man in his

Or you have not believed for a long time.

Obrigadi, Laerte.
I wish I knew, Sandi. I wish I knew.

ReplyDeleteMaybe someone will come tell us.
DeleteAs long as we live, there will always be wars. For some reason, it is the nature of most men. All we can do is pray. I believe there is no just war, and all are unnecessary.
ReplyDeleteThat part of the world has been the site of angry wars since the time of Abraham and Sarah. I have added Syria to my prayer list.
ReplyDeleteWe cannot comprehend the whys of any war...but wars have come and gone since the beginning of time...and the Bible tells us there will be even more before the Lord returns...but we can pray for these innocent victims...the children especially. May God be merciful to these little ones.
ReplyDeleteIt's in our nature, unfortunately. And there is no easy solution.
ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to those people who are so innocent in that country...and yes, there have been wars in that area of the world for a very long time...but I think of all the innocent ...especially the children who have to suffer the effects of those in power...
ReplyDeleteVery sad.
ReplyDeleteIn one heart with you! The very thing that we could do is to pray for those who are victims of this conflicts.
ReplyDeleteWhy Why Why !!!
ReplyDeleteThe cruelty of human beings toward others knows no bounds when God is absent from the picture.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Sandi!
Politicians have blocked their ears with the cotton of SELFISHNESS
ReplyDeleteYes! So true.
DeleteDeliver me, O Lord, from evil men; preserve me from violent men, who plan evil things in their heart and stir up wars continually. Psalm 140:1-2
It's beyond my capacity to understand, and I always wonder why I am blessed with a peaceful life and so many other innocent people endure such horrors.
ReplyDelete...praying helps, but working for peace is the answer.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tom
DeletePraying with you, Sandi.
