Quiet

  1. Dear Sandi, it is so true that we can be healed in quiet or silence. Often throughout the day, I go to the deep center of myself where Oneness dwells and within Oneness I dwell in silence. Balm for the soul. Peace.

  7. We often find scenes in nature that we feel calming. Yet inner peace resides within us.

  13. Yesssss. The quiet. How we relish it; how we need it. And yet it can be so difficult to attain. Man-made sounds of everyday life can assault us from all sides until they blend into one endless noise. Only in the beauty of nature can we lose ourselves in the more gentle soothing sounds of creation. Only there can we hear ourselves think.

  15. Hello Sandi! Thank you for visiting today; no, I am not leaving but I'm just rethinking how I will fulfill my dream to publish my work in this wild world. I need a place like this that you are proposing here!

  16. Water is known to soothe, calm and even heal. That's why people prefer to live near a body of water, and houses there have a higher value.
Of course, there are also those nasty, overflowing rivers that might cause damage - but they are the exception.
