A little early...

In those days a decree went out from
Caesar Augustus
that all the world should be registered.
This was the first registration when
Quirinius was governor of Syria.

And all went to be registered, each to his own town.
And Joseph also went up from Galilee,
from the town of Nazareth,
to Judea,
to the city of David,
which is called Bethlehem,
because he was of the house and lineage of David,
to be registered with Mary,
his betrothed, who was with child.

And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and  wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger,
because there was no place for them in the inn.

Luke 2:1-7

  12. Isaiah has already said it: He will come and deliver you. Jesus Christ was born as our Savior.

  14. I believe that the scriptures may reveal that Jesus was born nearer to late September/early October than 25th of December. The main thing is that Jesus birth is celebrated by us every day of the year. Hallelujah, praise His lovely name.

    1. I have heard that as well, Brenda. So maybe I got the day exactly right! Who knows? I think you are right. The main thing is that we celebrate!

  17. It's always good to be reminded of our Lord's birth. Like Brenda said, I too have heard preacher's say that December wasn't the month of Jesus birth.
