Hello Sandi: Hail, is a bad sign, the weather man said if there is hail there is possibility of a tornado, we had more snow and now icy roads, I would take the hail instead.
All we have is day after day of rain but California State "honchos" are saying to the Federal Gov. that we are still in emergency drought situations as all of our water goes merrily on its way out to the ocean. sorry for the bitterness but good grief, its all about money from Fed to State.. UGH Sue
Wish we could but it's not going to happen..too old and broke!!! Sigh, besides all of our family is here...Sigh...So we hang in there and put our hope and trust in the Lord. Sue
One sunny afternoon, Sandi was enjoying her southern home's warm weather when suddenly, a cold gust of wind hit her face. Bewildered, she looked up and saw dark clouds forming in the sky. Before she could make sense of it all, hailstones began to fall from the sky.
As the hail grew bigger, Sandi started to panic. She ran inside her house, grabbing a bucket to collect the falling hailstones. With each stone, she marveled at how each one was unique in size and shape.
But as she picked up one particularly large hailstone, it suddenly spoke to her. "Hey lady, why are you picking on me? Can't you see I'm the odd one out here?" Sandi was shocked, dropping the hailstone back into the bucket.
"What are you talking about?" she asked the hailstone.
"Well, all the other hailstones are perfectly round, but I'm shaped like a star. I guess I was just too hot-headed and stubborn, refusing to conform to the norm," the hailstone explained.
Sandi couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of it all. She had never imagined having a conversation with a hailstone before.
Sandi decided to keep the star-shaped hailstone as a reminder to embrace her individuality :-)
Hi Sandi, I love what Aritha has commented. We have lots of rain here in Northern Ireland as we are very close to the sea, but only one day this year have I seen a few hail stones.

ReplyDeleteЭто очень странно!
DeleteOh, my goodness! We had a bunch of rain overnight, but no hail.
ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't stopped by recently - I will try to amend that, Sandi.
Blessings!
Blessings to you too, Martha!
DeleteOh no, mostly cloudy and cold here in Maryland. Have a great new week!

ReplyDeleteHail! Not a nice thing if the pants are already starting to grow. can be real damage. Here just more snow yesterday and today. Enough already!!!
ReplyDeleteI have blooming daffodils, but they seemed to have weathered the storm.
DeleteWow. Regine
ReplyDeleteHail is rare here.
ReplyDeleteOh my, as long as damage wasn't done.
ReplyDeleteBecause it can...I guess ! (:0) Sue
ReplyDeleteWoW, sometimes you just have to wonder 'what in the world' is that!!
ReplyDeleteSo strange a weather nowadays
ReplyDeleteOoooo, pretty. That must have been a sight for you. We got hail one day also. I heard something on my roof, and my front porch was covered.
