I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! For I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he appeals to God against Israel? “Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have demolished your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life.” But what is God’s reply to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace. But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.
Romans 11:1-6
It is only through the grave of God and by accepting it are we saved.

ReplyDeleteI think Christianity may be the only religion that has grace.
ReplyDeletePraise the Lord for His Grace...
ReplyDeleteThe wonderful grace of the Lord is so great, that we never can fill our senses with all the miracles, which happen only through His grace, not through our work or purity.
ReplyDeleteSandi: Beautiful Scripture, thank-you for posting.

That is so true.... if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing. This is about the Jewish remnant Sandi. I hope that we can see some context, as Romans chapters 9~11 are such important verses for the body of Christ to know God`s purposes for Israel and the Jewish people. So we can pray for their return to their Jewish Messiah, Yeshua. Many of the Church does not realize God`s plan for Israel , and even how these chapters are so important so we can align with His purposes. Now there is a move of God to raise up intercessors for Israel. I pray all who are on this chat will join the call to pray and intercede for Israel at such a time like this!! Blessings and Shalom.
ReplyDeletenice to see you today sandi, i hope you have a wonderful day!!!
ReplyDeleteBy grace are we saved - through faith.
