A quiet whisper on a very loud Internet. Can you hear me?
You can only forgive
someone who is guilty.
Good thought Sandi - guess I was guilty - needed Jesu to forgive me. Glad He did. Hugs
Guilty as charged! So glad there is perfect forgiveness in Jesus.Sue
I chose the word "forgiven" and its allied words for my word of the year. Each of us is guilty of sin. Jesus saved us from those sins through his grace. Peace and blessings to you and yours.
It's an important word.
I appreciate you all so much. Thank you for your comments.
"For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
Yes, isn't it!
I can and I will, if and when the guilty person apologizes, but some have great difficulty to say I'm sorry for what I said or did to you.
What if they don't apologize?
If they don't apologize, it means they don't care about forgiveness, so why should I care about.
It hurts you if you hold onto unforgiveness.
Forgiveness soothes the soul
Guilty am I. For some reason the chorus of a hymn came to mind.My sin was old fashionedMy guilt was old fashionedGod's love was old fashioned I know. But the way I was savedWas the old fashioned way.Through the blood that makes whiter than snow.
I like that, Karen. Thanks.
Guilt in man's eyes can be different to 'guilt' in God's eyes. That is why we have to learn God's ways and thoughts through believing in Jesus and becoming a child of God . Then the Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth..
Thank you for that, Brenda.
Dear Sandi! I am sorry if I didn't understand you. I invite you to read my comment in my post of 6th June.
Thank you, ирина.
This world will never know peace until it learns to forgive.God bless.
Sometimes your words are like a hammer. Profound.
There are some who do not find it easy to forgive ...There are some who do not find it easy to be kind ...We live in uneasy and troubled times at the moment. All the best Jan
Simple and true, the statement.
