Do you know who He is?

Matthew 2:6

And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,

  are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;

  for from you shall come a ruler

  who will shepherd my people Israel.

Micah 5:2

But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah,

  who are too little to be among the clans of Judah,

  from you shall come forth for me

  one who is to be ruler in Israel,

  whose coming forth is from of old,

  from ancient days.

  4. Years ago when I was away at college, a girl down the hall from me invited me to church. I hardly knew this girl, but I accepted the invitation. When we got to church, I noticed that everyone had a Bible. As I listened to the pastor his message was so different than what I had ever heard. I was amazed that people were following along in their Bibles. At the end the pastor asked if anyone would like to be saved to come forward. I didn’t know what saved meant so I stay in my seat. He prayed a prayer so each could follow along. As he prayed the Lord said to me, “Linda, you have always thought you would go to heaven, but that is not so. You must look at what the cross is all about and understand that Jesus died for you.” I said, “I want that.” I’ve never been the same since. There is great joy in sharing this. Thank you for asking. All because a girl asked me to go to church.

  7. I was 32 years old before I heard the gospel message preached. I was 34 when I met Jesus and I've never been the same since. Life still has its ups and downs, but they are so much easier to go through them knowing the Lord. Thank you for asking, by the way. :)
