A long, long, long, time ago, I seriously considered buying some. But gosh, they were expensive. I did get a couple bags of shorn fleece from a breeder, though, and was able to do some fun things with it: spinning, felting, and knitting. They are incredibly cute.
I love them, too! We had several alpaca farms around here.
